Mark out of 15 for Media Language: 8 Estimated A Level coursework grade: C / D WWW: I agree  w ith your evaluation – it is a new, original version of Teen Vogue (and recognisable as that brand) but your description as ‘slightly professional’ rather than fully professional is accurate. This self-awareness  w ill be extremely helpful next year  w hen  w orking on your real coursework and hopefully you can use this project as inspiration to further develop the technical skills you mention struggling  w ith (e.g. cutting out the background on Photoshop). Ultimately, this feels like an unfinished cover  w ith the potential to be very good –  w e need to make sure your real coursework goes the extra mile. EBI: There are a few areas  w e can improve on. Research 1) Use Google to research potential magazines that you could use as your brand/design for this project.  Create a shortlist of  three  potential magazines and embed an example front cover from each one. We recommend looking at lifestyle magazines or a similar genre as these are more achievable to re-create.   2) Choose  one  of the three magazine brands to use for your project e.g GQ, Vogue or The Gentlewoman. Then f ind  three  different front covers for your chosen magazine and embed them in your blogpost. Analyse the fonts, colours and typical design. What is the language or writing style?
